2. Polynesian Spa
Rotorua in winter can be very cold so after a day of zip lining or mountain biking the best way to top off the day is by heading down to Polynesian Spa on Hinemoa Street. You can soak in the luxury outdoor spa among the New Zealand Flora or the outdoor adults pool that overlooks the stunning Lake Rotorua. You can even take the whole family and enjoy some fun and games in the family spa!

3. Redwoods Treewalk
The thought of walking through a forest at night in darkness doesn't so appealing! Well the Rotorua Redwoods Treewalk is probably one of the only places where you can walk through a forest and you don't have to keep looking over your shoulder every 5 seconds. The treewalk that takes you off the forest floor via a boardwalk from tree to tree is magnificant at night - lit up by colourful lights and lanterns. It really is a must see to give you a whole new perspective of what forest looks like at night.
4. Pig & Whistle
Gather your friends and enjoy some fun in one of Rotorua’s oldest pubs. This pubs historic charm and atmosphere will provide you with great tap beer and amazing food. Don't forget about the best curly fries in town also! On Thursday nights through to Sundays they have live music and it's some of the best around town. You must go and check it out for yourself - located on the corner of Haupapa and Tutanaki Street.

5. Mini Golf
Opposite our very own Rotorua Canopy Tours HQ is the very bright and colorful Mini Golf NZ. There are heaps of twinkling lights so it's difficult to miss! Try and find some furry friends jumping around and enjoying the 18-hole experience with you. When it comes to things to do in Rotorua, this is an ideal night hot spot for the whole family to enjoy.
6. Mitai Maori Village Experience
You can't come to Rotorua without checking out one of the traditional Maori Village Experiences in tow. Mitai Maori Village is our favourite as it is truly so authentic - the entire three hour experience is a true representation of our Maori culture performed by local Maori talent. The whole experiences includes a bush walk, cultural peformances and a traditional ground hangi (every New Zealanders favourite kai/food!)
